Future paid services
Paid Services, Cancellation & Refund Policy
This policy provides a transparent framework for future featured listings, promotions, upgrades, subscriptions, and other paid services.
Effective: 16 September 2026
Website draft for professional legal review
1. Current status
HabeshaReach may display information about planned premium features, but the reviewed implementation states that billing is not ready and no payment is taken. A waitlist or enquiry is not a purchase and does not create a paid subscription.
2. Future paid services
Paid services may later include featured listings, promoted placements, listing upgrades, subscriptions, advertising, or other visibility and business tools. The exact benefit, duration, eligibility, price, and limitations must be disclosed before purchase.
3. Prices and billing
No current price, billing period, or automatic-renewal commitment is established by this draft. Before launch, each checkout must clearly show the total price, applicable tax, currency, billing frequency, whether renewal is automatic, when charges occur, and how to stop future charges.
4. Cancellation
Before recurring billing launches, HabeshaReach must provide a practical cancellation method and disclose when cancellation takes effect. Cancellation should prevent future charges according to the terms shown at purchase. Whether access continues until the end of a paid period requires final confirmation.
5. Refunds
No general refund promise or refund window is created by this pre-launch draft. Refund eligibility, processing time, partial-period treatment, promotional credits, failed delivery, accidental charges, and legally required consumer remedies must be finalized before launch. Mandatory consumer rights will continue to apply where they cannot be excluded.
6. Featured and promoted placement
Payment may affect placement only as clearly disclosed and labelled. It must not be presented as independent verification, guaranteed ranking, endorsement, guaranteed views, leads, sales, or business outcomes. Promotion can be rejected or removed for policy violations.
7. Changes to paid services
Future price or feature changes should be communicated before they affect an existing paid commitment where required. Material changes to recurring services should state the effective date and available cancellation options.
8. Purchase support
When billing launches, receipts, invoices, cancellation controls, purchase support, and legally required checkout information must be connected before the first payment is accepted.
