Verification Policy

1. What verification means

Verification means HabeshaReach reviewed selected information or evidence connected with a listing at a particular time. The scope of review may differ based on listing type, country, available evidence, risk, and platform processes.

2. What verification does not mean

Verification does not mean HabeshaReach guarantees, recommends, endorses, certifies, licenses, insures, or promises the quality, safety, legality, qualifications, identity, future conduct, or reliability of a business or professional. Users must make their own checks before making decisions or payments.

3. Who can request verification

An authenticated owner or authorized representative of an eligible business or professional listing may request verification through available dashboard controls. The listing should be complete, accurate, and compliant with HabeshaReach policies.

4. Evidence that may be requested

• Access to an official business or professional email address or website.
• Public business-registration, professional-registration, or licence information where relevant and lawful.
• Proof of authority to represent or manage the listed provider.
• Identity evidence where proportionate and necessary.
• Recent contact, location, domain, or other evidence connecting the requester to the listing.

5. Review process

Requests may be reviewed manually. HabeshaReach may compare submitted information with the listing, public sources, prior reports, and relevant evidence. Additional information or corrections may be requested. Sensitive documents should not be requested or retained unless necessary.

6. Approval or rejection

A request may be approved when the available evidence reasonably supports the requested status. It may be rejected or left pending when information is incomplete, inconsistent, unverifiable, unsafe to process, or contrary to policy. Rejection does not necessarily mean the provider is illegitimate.

7. Removal of verification

Verification may be removed when listing ownership changes, information becomes inaccurate, evidence expires, the listing violates policy, credible reports raise concerns, or continued verification could mislead users. HabeshaReach may request renewed evidence.

8. Misuse

Do not describe verification as a guarantee, government approval, professional certification, licence, endorsement, or quality award. Do not copy the verification badge, forge approval, or use it for another listing. Misuse may lead to badge removal, listing restrictions, or account action.
